Set the Pipedrive trigger as “Lead added”

Add the Pipedrive trigger to initiate your playbook's actions before adding a lead.

To do this, click "Add trigger" in your playbook. Select the "Lead added" trigger option from the dropdown menu under Pipedrive. It will enable your playbook to identify newly added leads and trigger necessary actions automatically.

If you still need to connect your Pipedrive account to Relay.app, a prompt will guide you through the connection process.

2

Add the “Send DM” step in Slack

To ensure timely updates on leads in Pipedrive, you can integrate Slack automation into your playbook.

To do this, select "Add Step" and then search for the "Send DM" automation for Slack. Provide all the necessary details, including the receiver's name and the message body containing detailed information.

If you still need to connect your Slack account to Relay.app, you will be prompted to do so. Ensure you allow the necessary permissions for Relay.app to send direct messages through your Slack account.

3

Activate your playbook

Activating your playbook is the last step in the process. Once you turn it on, it will automatically send a direct message in Slack whenever a new lead is added in Pipedrive without requiring manual intervention.

To activate your playbook, click the toggle button in the header. Before activating, we recommend performing a test run of your playbook to ensure all the steps work seamlessly together.
