Set the HubSpot trigger as “Message received”

To activate your playbook actions before receiving a message in HubSpot, you need to add a trigger.

First, access your playbook and click on "Add trigger." From the HubSpot options, select the "Message received" trigger. This will enable your playbook to perform the required actions automatically when a message is received.

If you haven't connected your HubSpot account with Relay.app yet, a prompt will guide you through the connection process.

2

Add the “Add subscriber to list” in Mailchimp step

If you want to integrate Mailchimp automation with HubSpot messages, you can easily add subscribers to the list.

To do this, click "Add step" and select the "Add subscriber to list" automation. Then, enter all the relevant details, such as Audience, Email address, Status, and Tags.

If you still need to connect your Mailchimp account to Relay.app, you'll be prompted to do so. Make sure to allow Relay.app the necessary permissions to add subscribers to your Mailchimp account's list.

3

Activate your playbook

Activating your playbook is the last step. Once you turn it on, the playbook automatically adds subscribers in Mailchimp for new messages received in HubSpot without manual intervention.

To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together.
