1

Add the Apollo "Contact created" trigger

Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and runs your playbook in response.

Click "Add trigger" and select "Contact created" under Apollo. This trigger will automatically detect all the new contacts created in Apollo to create new contacts in HubSpot.

If this is your first time using an Apollo integration in Relay.app, you'll be prompted to connect your Apollo account.

2

Add the HubSpot "Get or create contact" automation

Integrate the HubSpot automation into your playbook to ensure the prompt creation of a new contact in HubSpot for every new contact created in Apollo. Add a new step and select "Get or create contact" from the list of HubSpot automations.

Connect HubSpot to Relay.app if you haven't already, then fill out the mandatory and relevant details. You can reference fields from Apollo to automatically pass along the right data.

3

Turn on the playbook

Activating your playbook is the final step to automate creating a new contact in HubSpot for every new contact created in Apollo. Once turned on, it will respond to every contact created in Apollo by creating a corresponding contact in HubSpot without manual intervention.

To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together and reminders are sent correctly.
