How to create a corresponding task in Asana from new Todoist tasks

Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and initiates your playbook's actions.

Click "Add trigger" and select "Task created" under Todoist automation. Then, select the necessary details. This will allow your playbook to automatically detect new tasks created in Todoist and initiate necessary actions.

If this is your first time using a Todoist integration in Relay.app, a prompt will guide you through the connection process.

Integrate the Asana automation into your playbook to ensure the prompt creation of a new corresponding task for the new task created in Todoist.

Select the "Add step" button, then locate the "Create task" automation for Asana and input the mandatory and relevant details.

If your Asana account isn't already connected to Relay.app, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Make sure to allow the necessary permissions for Relay.app to sync with your Asana account.

Activating your playbook is the final step to automate the sync task creation between Asana and Todoist. Once turned on, it will respond to the newly created task in Todoist by creating a new task in Asana without manual intervention.

To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together and reminders are being sent correctly.
