1

Set the Todoist trigger as "New project added"

Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and initiates your playbook's actions.

Click "Add trigger" and select "New project added" under Todoist automation. Then, select the project. This will allow your playbook to automatically detect new projects added in Todoist and initiate necessary actions.

If this is your first time using a Todoist integration in Relay.app, a prompt will guide you through the connection process.

2

Add the "Create task" in Asana automation

Integrate the Asana automation into your playbook to ensure the prompt creation of a new task for each project added in Todoist.

Click the "Add step" button, then locate the "Create task" automation for Asana and input the mandatory and relevant details.

If your Asana account isn't already connected to Relay.app, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Make sure to allow the necessary permissions for Relay.app to sync with your Asana account.

3

Activate your Relay.app playbook

Activating your playbook is the final step to automate the creation of a new task in Asana. Once turned on, it will respond to a new project added in Todoist by creating a new corresponding task in Asana without manual intervention.

To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together and reminders are being sent correctly.
