1

Set the Jira trigger as “Issue created”

Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and runs your playbook in response.

To do this, click "Add trigger" in your playbook. Select the "Issue created" trigger option from the dropdown menu under Jira. It will enable your playbook to automatically identify newly created issues and trigger necessary actions.

If you still need to connect your Jira account to Relay.app, a prompt will guide you through the connection process.

2

Add the “Add deal” automation in Pipedrive

Integrate the Pipedrive automation into your playbook to ensure the prompt adding of deals from new issues created in Jira.

Select "Add step," then locate the "Add deal" automation for Pipedrive and input the mandatory and relevant details.

If your Pipedrive account isn't connected to Relay.app, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Make sure to allow the necessary permissions for Relay.app to add deals through your Pipedrive account.

3

Activate your Relay.app playbook

Activating your playbook is the final step to automate the addition of a new deal in Pipedrive. Once turned on, it will respond to a new issue created in Jira by adding a corresponding deal in Pipedrive without manual intervention.

To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together and reminders are being sent correctly.
