1

Set the HubSpot trigger as "Message received"

Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and initiates your playbook's actions.

Click "Add trigger" and select "Message received" under HubSpot automation. Then, select the Inbox. This will allow your playbook to automatically detect new messages received in HubSpot and initiate necessary actions.

If this is your first time using a HubSpot integration in Relay.app, a prompt will guide you through the connection process.

2

Add the "Create task" in Asana automation

Integrate the Asana automation into your playbook to ensure the prompt creation of new tasks for each message received in HubSpot.

Click the "Add step" button, then locate the "Create task" automation for Asana and input the mandatory and relevant details.

If your Asana account isn't already connected to Relay.app, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Make sure to allow the necessary permissions for Relay.app to sync with your Asana account.

3

Activate your Relay.app playbook

Activating your playbook is the final step to automate the creation of a new task in Asana. Once turned on, it will respond to new messages received in HubSpot by creating a new task in Asana without manual intervention.

To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together and reminders are being sent correctly.
