Set the Calendly trigger as “Event scheduled”

Add the Calendly trigger to initiate your playbook's actions before scheduling events.

To do this, click "Add trigger" in your playbook. Select the "Event scheduled" trigger option from the dropdown menu under Calendly. It will enable your playbook to identify newly scheduled events and trigger necessary actions automatically.

If you have yet to connect your Calendly account to Relay.app, a prompt will guide you through the connection process.

Add the “Add row to sheet” step in Google Sheets

Integrate the Google Sheets automation to instantly track scheduled Calendly events.

Select "Add Step" and then find the "Add row to sheet" automation for Google Sheets. Enter all the required details, including the Event type, Guest, ID of an event in synced, Invitee email, Invitee name, Invitee time zone, Organizer email, Organizer name, Organizer time zone, and Start date.

If you still need to connect your Google Sheets account to Relay.app, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Ensure that you allow the necessary permissions for Relay.app to add a row to a sheet through your Google Sheets account.

Activate your playbook

Activating your playbook is the final step. Once you turn it on, the playbook will automatically track upcoming Calendly events in Google Sheets without manual intervention.

To enable your playbook, click the toggle button in the header. You should perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure that all steps work smoothly together.
