How to automatically sync new Pipedrive contacts to Google Sheets

Relay.app is an automation tool that lets you automate actions across Pipedrive, Google Sheets, and many other apps. In this guide, we'll show you how to use Relay.app to automatically run the Google SheetsAdd row to sheet” action for each PipedrivePerson added” event.

1

Set the Pipedrive trigger as “Person added”

Add the Pipedrive trigger to initiate your playbook's actions.

To do this, click "Add trigger" in your playbook. Select the "Person added" trigger option from the dropdown menu under Pipedrive. It will enable your playbook to identify newly added persons and trigger necessary actions automatically.

If you have yet to connect your Pipedrive account to Relay, a prompt will guide you through the connection process.

2

Add the “Add row to sheet” automation in Google Sheets

Select "Add Step" and search for the "Add row to sheet" automation. Then, choose the table and sheet where you want to add the row - let's say it's the "Contacts" table. Once you've selected the table, click on all the relevant fields and fill in the necessary details, such as the Email, First name, Label, Last name, Name, Notes, Organization, and Phone.

If you still need to connect your Google Sheets account to Relay, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Make sure to allow the necessary permissions for Relay to add rows through your Google Sheets account.

3

Activate your playbook

Activating your playbook is the final step to add a row for your person's record from Pipedrive to Google Sheets without manual intervention.

To activate your playbook, click the toggle button in the header. Before starting it, we recommend running a test to ensure all the steps work seamlessly together.
