1

Add a Paddle "Subscription created" trigger

After creating a new playbook, click "Add trigger" and then select "Subscription created" under the Paddle menu item. Triggers detect changes in your connected apps and run your playbook in response.

With the "Subscription created" trigger, Relay.app will automatically detect newly created subscriptions in Paddle and kick off a new run of this playbook.

2

Add a Gmail "Send email" step

Click the "Add step" button, and then select "Send email" under Gmail. Next, fill in the email fields like recipient and message body. Here you can use data from the Paddle trigger that kicked off the run.

If your Gmail account isn't already connected to Relay.app, you will be prompted to connect it. Just follow the prompts to allow Relay.app to sync with your Gmail account.

3

Activate your Relay.app playbook

Activating your playbook is the final step. Once turned on, Relay.app will respond to each new Paddle subscription by creating an email message via Gmail, without you needing to lift another finger.

To enable your playbook, just click the toggle button located in the header. You'll also generally want to perform a test run of any new playbook to check that its configured properly and working smoothly.
