1

Set the Airtable trigger as "New record added"

Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and runs your playbook in response.

Click "Add trigger" and select "Record added" under Airtable. Then, select the table. It will enable your playbook to automatically identify newly created records and trigger necessary actions.

If this is your first time using Airtable integration in Relay, you'll be prompted to connect your Airtable account.

2

Add the "Create draft" in Front automation

Integrate the Front automation into your playbook to ensure the prompt creation of a new draft for each new record added in Airtable.

Select "Add step," then locate the "Create draft" automation for Front, and input the relevant details and initiate necessary actions.

If your Front account isn't connected to Relay, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Make sure to allow the necessary permissions for Relay to sync with your Front account.

3

Activate your Relay.app playbook

Activating your playbook is the final step to automate the creation of a draft message in Front. Once turned on, it will respond to a new record added in Airtable by crating a draft message in Front without manual intervention.

To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together and reminders are being sent correctly.
