Add the Tally trigger

Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and runs your playbook in response.

Click "Add trigger" and select "New form submission" under Tally. Then, select the specific form you want to monitor for new submissions. If this is your first time using a Tally integration in Relay, you'll be prompted to connect your Tally account.

Now, every time there is a new form submission in Tally, your playbook will run automatically.

2

Add the Slack Send message automation

Now you can set up an automation to notify your Slack channel. Add a new step and select "Send message" from the list of Slack automations.

If you haven't already connected Slack to Relay, you'll need to do so. Then, specify the inputs such as 'Destination channel' and 'Message'. You can use fields from the Tally submission to populate the message with relevant data.

3

Turn on the playbook

When you are done with the playbook, it's time to turn it on.

The playbook will now run automatically whenever there is a new form submission in Tally. You can also click "Check now" to perform a manual check whenever you'd like.
