Add the Stripe "Payment created" trigger

Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and runs your playbook in response.

Click "Add trigger" and select "Payment created" under Stripe. Then, select the needed fields. This trigger will automatically detect all the new payments created in Stripe to add a new card in Trello.

If this is your first time using a Stripe integration in Relay, you'll be prompted to connect your Stripe account.

2

Add the Trello "Add card to list" automation

Integrate the Trello automation into your playbook to ensure the prompt creation of a new Trello card to a list for each payment processed in Stripe. Add a new step and select "Add card to list" from the list of Trello automations.

Connect Trello to Relay if you haven't already, then fill out the mandatory and relevant details. You can reference fields from Stripe to automatically pass along the right data.

3

Turn on the playbook

Activating your playbook is the final step to automate adding a new card to the Trello list for every new payment in Stripe. Once turned on, it will respond to the new payment in Stripe by creating a new card in Trello without manual intervention.

To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together and reminders are sent correctly.
