Add the Stripe trigger

Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and runs your playbook in response.

Click "Add trigger" and select "Subscription created" under Stripe. Then, select the necessary details. This trigger ensures that all customers with new subscription will be detected. If this is your first time using a Stripe integration in Relay, you'll be prompted to connect your Stripe account.

Now, every time a subscription is created in Stripe, your playbook will run automatically.

2

Add the Coda "Add row to table" automation

For every customer with a newly created subscription, a new row will now be automatically added to a table in Coda. Make sure to add a new step and select "Add row to table" from the list of Coda automations.

Connect Coda to Relay if you haven't already, then fill out the necessary details. You can reference fields from Stripe to automatically pass along the right data.

3

Turn on the playbook

When you are done with the playbook, it's time to turn it on.

The playbook will now run automatically whenever a subscription is created in Stripe. You can also click "Check now" to do a manual check whenever you'd like.
